May we wait on You.

God, You work outside of our understanding.
But a lot of times we demand an answer from You
on our own timing when all You ask of us is to wait.
When the waiting feels too long and difficult,
we give up and our hope is not as strong as we thought.
But it is not You who needs correction, but us.
So may we keep faith and trust in You.
May we keep looking up to You and even
when our answer does come,
may we keep waiting on You still.
Correct us, Lord, to follow Your truth
because You are right in all things.
