peace //

We sometimes get caught up in our worries and life may bring about things that lead our hearts to anxiety and fear. The enemy may put lies and thoughts in our head that God would never wish for us to think about. All the noise from life and from this world can drown us in overwhelming frustration.

God’s peace has the power to calm your anxious heart. He can bring peace in the midst of your fears. There were times when I needed His peace to get me through times of anxiety. There were nights of fear, but there were also mornings of peace, joy and new mercies.

God only plans to give you a hope and a future, never to harm you. Cast all your worries and anxiety on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). There is no peace like the peace of God. It is more than we can comprehend . This peace will guard your mind and heart (Phil. 4:7). In your storms, Jesus will be your peace. He is with you always. He loves you. Give Him a chance to work on you. Trust and have faith in Him and He will bless you.

The Lord gives strength to His people and will bless them with peace (Ps. 29:11). It is what He has promised (Ps. 85:8). Seek peace, receive peace, and live in peace with others. Do not be afraid! He keeps reminding us of this throughout His Word. He is still teaching me peace and I am still learning to trust in Him through it all.

Philippians 4:6

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.”

Thank you for reading! I hope that this touched your heart as much as it touched mine every time I read it. God bless you!
