We all seek guidance in our lives. We may go to a friend, a parent, or someone that we look up to. They may give pretty good advice on what to do and how to deal with certain things. God’s Word gives the best of the best wisdom. True wisdom. Fearing God is the first step to knowing His wisdom and knowledge (Prov. 1:7). Don’t be foolish by ignoring the wisdom of God. Love it, and live by it. We all want to gain wisdom and seek guidance, but that will be very difficult without God’s Word. Live by His word and not the world. Do not follow where the foolish go. Those who listen to the wisdom of God will be safe and will not fear evil. The Lord’s wisdom protects, guides, and shields. Go after it, like you would after hidden treasures. Trust in God, not your own understanding. He will communicate with those who are ready to listen. The wisdom that God used to create this universe is the same wisdom He can give you. Have it in your heart. When wisdom calls, do not ignore it.
