We all have times in our lives when we question God. We are all human and none of us are perfect. We all stumble and fall, but God is always there for us. Even though we may not realize it.
Does God love me ? Did He forget about me ? Does He still want me ?
Sometimes, when you go through a very difficult time, you question God’s love for you. Maybe He just hasn’t done any miracles in your life and you question Him there. You may not have felt His love in a while. Maybe you have made many mistakes in life and you wonder whether He still loves you even with all that you’ve said or done. God loves each and every one of us. Just because you don’t feel His love for you, doesn’t mean He forgot about you. It doesn’t mean He doesn’t love you. It doesn’t mean He’s not there. HE’S NOT FINISHED WITH YOU YET. Stay patient. Your future is filled with miracles that He will do for you. Remember: The teacher is always quiet during the test!
I have had the same question wondering if He forgot about me or not. Wondering if He was still there for me. This past weekend was a Youth Conference in Virginia. It was the best weekend I’ve ever had, yet. I felt His love for the first time since I moved. (I moved in August, 2015) // Even that little feeling I had in my heart still made me know for sure that He never left me. It lifted my spirit so much knowing that the One who created the Heavens and the earth still loves me. Every morning you wake up is a sign that He still wants you here. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Come near to Him and He will come near to you.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God. who loved me and gave himself for me.
Ephesians 2:4-5 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ— by grace you have been saved—
1 John 4:9-11 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
Deuteronomy 31:8 It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”
James 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
